THE PLAY OF THE WEEK
Stop Beating Yourself Up
I want to tell you something most coaches will never say out loud.
You are doing better than you think.
One of the most common things I see in successful hardworking family business owners is the relentless habit of beating themselves up. The missed target. The wrong hire. The decision that did not work out. They carry all of it. Every single day.
If someone else talked to you the way you talk to yourself you would not want to be friends with them.
I have had clients walk into my group sessions physically sick with nerves. Convinced they did not belong in the room. They were wrong. Every single time.
Imposter syndrome is real. But here is what I know. You have come this far because you are doing a lot right.
Acknowledge your mistakes. Learn from them. Move on.
Be a little kinder to yourself. You have earned it.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“We all have that voice in our head saying things like, ‘You are stupid,’ or ‘Who do you think you are?’ The one thing the voice hates is taking ACTION; the truth is the voice in your head is a coward.”
